Our office is in Danvers, and we clean in the towns around it and down into greater Boston.
Our office is on Prince Street in Danvers. The towns nearest to it are Peabody, Middleton, Beverly and Salem. We also clean up the coast to Gloucester, Rockport and Newburyport, west to Andover and Methuen, and south to Malden, Medford and Revere. The houses change a lot across that stretch, from old colonials with narrow stairs to triple deckers and city condos. Each kind cleans a little differently.

A lot of the houses in Danvers and Salem are old, and some of them are very old. They have wide board floors with gaps between the boards, deep window sills, radiators and trim full of ledges. Every one of those holds dust.
So in an older house we spend more time on the edges of a room than the middle. Radiators and sills get dusted and wiped. The floors get vacuumed along the boards instead of across them, which pulls the grit out of the gaps. Skip the edges and the house looks clean for a day, then dusty again by the weekend.
Winter salt and sand come in the door
From the first snow until spring, boots carry road salt and sand into the house. The salt dries into a white film on hardwood and tile near the doors. The sand works like sandpaper on the floor finish every time someone walks across it.
So on winter visits the entry and the kitchen floor get extra time. We vacuum the grit up first so it does not get dragged around, then clean the floor itself. Salt left on a wood floor for a whole season can dull the finish for good.
